Spent a few hours yesterday night to set up Almetl. There is an old saying "远在天边, 近在眼前." Now I fully understand this wisdom. After testing a great lot of proxy tools, both client-based and web-based, I'm here to announce that the best proxy tool on earth is Gladder, which I have been using since Dark Age. Just forget about the Hotspot Shield that I found a week ago and dump away all web-based proxy toolkits. But Gladder still has a clear defect, it cannot view large graphic files and is not able to log in Blogger. So, there's still no elixir right now to address the problem of GFW. How to detour GFW would be a topic of enduring interest as long as the digital wall is in effect, or as long as you are a Chinese netizen.
Kaixin001.com is now shot through with in-site advertisements. Is this the right way to make profits for SNS sites? Let's wait and see.
