Ong Bak 2 (2008)
Ong Bak 2 is a completely different film than Jaa's earlier works Ong Bak or Tom Yum Goong. Anyone expecting actions at the same level of Ong Bak or Tom Yum Goong will be somewhat disappointed. (Yup, I'm one of those feeling disappointed.) This is a whole different kind of movie really. Rarely does Tony Jaa show off the flips that made him famous. The story line is a little bit convoluted, and seems without a proper end (paving the way for a sequel?). I rather prefer the simple plot of Ong bak, after all, what our audiences expect is plenty of brutal fist fighting out of Tony Jaa. Well, I think Tony need to hire a good script writer for the sequel, Ong Bak 3?
