Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets/哈利波特与密室 (2002)

The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Something evil has returned to Hogwarts!

It's Year 2 at Hogwarts, and Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione are back learning, but their year doesn't go past quietly. Members of the school are turning up petrified and bloody writing are appearing on the walls, revealing to everyone, that someone has opened the chamber of secrets. The attacks continue, bringing the possibility of the closure of Hogwarts. Harry and his friends are now forced to secretly uncover the truth about the chamber before the school closes or any lives are taken.

Well, like the first one, the second film of Harry Potter is nothing but a must-watch and if you want to know how a snake speaks, watch the film and you will find the snake language cool!

The first screen legend of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, has spoiled no wonderfulness of its novelistic predecessor.

It is the tale of Harry Potter, an ordinary 11-year-old boy serving as a sort of slave for his aunt and uncle who learns that he is actually a wizard and has been invited to attend the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is snatched away from his mundane existence by Hagrid, the grounds keeper for Hogwarts, and quickly thrown into a world completely foreign to both him and the viewer. Famous for an incident that happened at his birth, Harry makes friends easily at his new school. He soon finds, however, that the wizarding world is far more dangerous for him than he would have imagined, and he quickly learns that not all wizards are ones to be trusted...

Believe it or not, I have never watched a single Potter movie before due to a terrible lack of time. And though I was fascinated hugely by telling magics and breathtaking adventures, I had had no opportunity to pay a visit to cinema when the legendary flicks were on screen. Now I have to treat myself these veritable feasts for my eyes and mind!

New Gadgets at KFC

Today we dined out at KFC, fortunately or unfortunately, Zoe snatched back some new contrivances from the counter -- salad and strawberry egg tart.

Let's first take a look at these newborn babies.

The salad was great, tasted better than the Zoe-made one. (Darling, don't hit me for saying this... 0_o) But the egg tart was ordinary, and not worthy of its price I promise! It's too sour and didn't give me a sense of yumminess.

Well, we may go to McDonald next time to see what she would contrive to counter these recent KFC inventions.

Mad Detective/神探 (2007)

Great, Great, Great, these are the three words I could come up after watching this film. Mad Detective is a suspenseful drama that fits into pop culture and explores the viperous side of a human. I'm really sorry I once theorized that all HK movies are craps. This one did give me a sense of depth and insight. The movie looks at the heart of a human from a weird angle -- multiple personality disorder, my first contact with alternating personality genre was from a western movie "Rear Window", which gave me the same heartquake as Mad Detective did.

Mad Detective gets a relatively high score of 8.1 at mtime.com so I ventured out to check out this flick. It didn't disappoint me, thanks for exploiting the evil side of the human!

YUYU HAKUSHO/冥界死斗篇 (2004)

I haven't been watching cartoon for years but my memory tells me that Yu Yu was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I was crazy about both Yu Yu comic books and TV series back then, really a Yu Yu buff. With no doubt, Yu Yu was one of my best companies at my leisure time as a student.

Days before I encountered this Yu Yu movie by chance and decided to follow my nose. Upon finishing it, I felt... bored, Yu Yu now no longer produces the same feeling that I experienced in the past and couldn't trigger my heart string anymore. Well, be optimistic, maybe I will gain back the zest I had once had on Yu Yu in the next interaction. Let's wait and see!

My Babie is Sleeping Now

It's time to sleep... but I just couldn't get into sleep without my baby. She must have dipped into a dream now. Don't wake her up, just keep her safe while she sleeps.

My Dream of Time Trip

Dennis said we shoud record something about our life for future.

To a person always loses her past, this is an absolutely good idea to give her memory. Maybe one day when I was 60 years old, I will read this blog with D on our garden. I desire this day will come soon!

Now, a song called<至少还有你> came up to my mind, it has a sentence "恨不得一夜之间白头". I can't understand this before, but maybe I know now. Haha, I don't want to be old only in one night really, I just want to take a glance to the the future.

POP! Awake! You can't take time trip! The only thing I can do is to record what happend today, and waiting today become yesterday or even long long ago, then I open this blog, see, what happend on Aug 1st 2008, imageine I travelled back to Aug 1st 2008. This is my time trip.

Today is normal as yesterday and the day before yesterday... I really don't mean to excue I almost forget what happened on this daytime, though it is the fact. But I can mark today as fine! It is such like I can intonate the rough rhythm of a song but I can't put down its opern.

Oh right, Dennis bought a terrible loaf today, hah, we ate it on a bus stop. I think the loaf looks like a huge beetle with no legs, course the legs were eaten by D. XD

My Wife is a Gambling Maestro/我老婆系赌圣 (2008)

My Wife is a Gambling Maestro is a movie that I watched during lunch at company, with my wife sitting beside me. (so sweet..) I searched this movie at mtime.com and saw a stunning low score, no wonder because what I am going to tell you is a bug I found in this movie.

In one scene, a sniper tries to shoot a girl, but the girl throws "a something with fire" at the sniper with an apparently faint swing. The weirdest part is that somehow the throw-out hit the sniper hard! What does this mean? To me, this means the stupid sniper stands just a few meters away from the girl and he tries to kill her with a sniper rifle in such a short distance. Does all these make sense? Nah! Stupid director...

Now you see how a stupid plot ruins a whole movie... Anyway, never expect anything good coming out from this HK flick. It's just for the birds.

My First Bite on French Bread

I was extremely hungry, even starving, today after working long hours, and decided to feed myself something to eat when me and Zoe walked pass a bakery. The first thing that sneaked into my eyes was something labeled French bread, with noble and unfamiliar package, I was totally attracted to this newly-found treasure.

Of course I bought one with a peace of mind, but... after a few nibbles, we found the bread was hard -- hard to bite, hard to chew and hard to swallow. You were like eating a brownish stone indeed, and it was a hell out there when you were taking a bite out of a stone... Finally, half of the bread went to garbage bin and we felt no sorry at all. Say adieu to the French stone and I swear I will never give another bite on French loaf!

A Story of Lingling's Promotion

We treated ourselves a good meal today thanks to Lingling's 'bogus promotion'. =D I arrived there a bit late and sat across my lover. After a noisy ordering and brief waiting, we started to wolf down spicy food like a horde of pigs. Of course, Zoe was eating like a sow, while I was like a hog. XD

Then the funny part came in, when Zoe swallowed down a cup of wine from Liky and her face turned full red immediately, while screaming "my head is swing!" over and over again until she fell over on the dining table. What a spectacular view, huh?! So sorry that not a single picture was taken for this historic moment. =(

After the dinner, we walked alongside all the way down to her home, laughing and giggling with my arm always rested on her body. I thought she must have felt safe and protected when I was with her. =)

Finally we departed with unwillingness in our eyes, I love her so much, really, Zoe, you know how much I want to tell you now, I love you.
