Independence Day (1996)

It's very interesting to see earthling confront intrusive alien creatures in a blockbuster way. Actually, I'm personally in favor of this kind of theme, though I really have no idea why everyone else thinks so poorly of this flick. The dialogues were lame maybe, but the acting was decent and Will Smith, to say the least, has done his job faultlessly, plus the special effects were amazing in the standards of 19th century.

Independence Day is not monumental, but a well-produced popcorn movie, a good waste of time!
