Where Am I?

This was, technologically speaking, the first co-authored publication by me and Zoe, as she threw out a host of rough ideas and me elaborating on them.

I think it should be kept as an entry on our blog.

Day Zero, Where am I?

WoWMike: Am I dead? Nah, still breathing. Seemed I was just recovered from a deep coma. I found I was placed in a very unfamiliar space when my eyes opened with great sore. It sounded not too bad though for a human mage surviving from a fierce battle with The Scourge. There was, before me, a huge map made of yellowish parchment, above it a line in small font size www.wowmine.com. I touched the map, nothing happened. I then looked around, saw nothing live... I am WoWMike. Where am I now...

Day One, Where am I?

WoWMike: Somehow I must have survived from death. I checked the map meticulously and sensed there was something between the parchment. Maybe that was where the secret lay. Draining all my mana, I tried to melt down the outer with the help of my fire magic to reveal what seemed to be an interlayer. A hole was burnt on the map, and there was something hidden inside as expected! It looked like a sun, or some sun-like object. My mana had drained out finally and I would have to regain my mana before making a next melting attempt.

Day Two, Where am I?

WoWMike: I heard some faint drums from far away which made my heart beating volatilely. The drums sounded very familiar to me, but my memory did not serve me well enough to come up with a right answer. My mana had recovered from the drain and I could cast another small fireblast again. A second hole was burnt on the map and I saw some mountains entwined by rampant forests under a twilight sky. Where am I? I hoped I could work this out before draining all my mana here.

Day Three, Where am I?

WoWMike: It was the third day I was stranded in this place without any food, water and shelter. God knows how long I could manage to hold up under these daily hardship while I still had no clue about where I was now. I threw a small fireblast again with all my mana in the hope of burning up the entire map, but I blew it and only a small hole was burnt open this time. More mountain ranges appeared on the map which made me more confused and frustrated. It looked like somewhere in Durotar. I hoped it was not an Orc's camp... Where am I?

Day Four, Where am I?

WoWMike: I got a clearer picture after throwing the fourth fireball onto the map. A man in a weird pose between two withered trees on the right distance was seen vaguely. This discovery made me crazy on the spot as it was the first time I saw something live in this stranded situation. I shouted with pain and waved vigorously to him, but he kept still under the bare trees without budging a bit. I plunged into deep confusion and frustration again. Where am I?

Day Five, Where am I?

WoWMike: I didn't feel well today and decided not to speak anything until fully recover.

Day Six, Where am I?

WoWMike: When the sunlight was shining on my body, breeze combing my hair and fragrance hanging over my nose, I knew it was time to start my journey home after all these bitterness. "Country road, take me home..." My voice was beautiful, not kidding. Thanks all the people stood by me these days. Special thanks to a guy named shitlikit who had puzzled out the answer on the third day. As what I promised, all the guys who had helped point out the place I was stranded, which turned out to be in Thunder Bluff, will be rewarded accordingly. Please remember to check your mail box in time and I will be back soon for a new adventure! Stay tuned!
